User-Experience Designer (m/f)

As UX Designer you take the lead improving the experience for all on- and offline customer interaction with our retailers. You will be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes. You will also design the overall functionality of the product and iterate upon it to ensure a great user experience. Further, you will provide support and assistance with inquiries, concerns, and requests about customer experience and take a ‘hands on’ approach to combining research and analytical data with your knowledge and experience of online and offline retail to drive continuous customer experience and conversion improvements.   • Leading team expert in the fields of user-experience design and usability optimization for all digital devices (online and offline)
  • Drive a customer focused strategy to optimize user experience across all touchpoints of a customer journey in retail
  • Facilitate client’s product visions by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
  • Design and deliver user stories, user journeys and wireframes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new functions and features.
  • Continuous analysis and definition of improvement measures of the group´s retailers with regard to all areas of the customer experience across channels
  • Prioritization of both the minor ‘Business as usual’ issues, and the wider strategic road map liaising with retailer’s tech and marketing departments.
  • Ensuring group-wide knowledge transfer via identifying best practices (internal and external) and introducing state-of-the-art technologies and tools
  • Screening for relevant trends and latest technology regarding omni-channel customer experience and usability optimization
  • Collaborate with our retail divisions, team members and stakeholders


  • Work experience in the area of UX design. Preferably experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments including omni-channel context.
  • Deep understanding of omni-channel customer journeys in the retail industry
  • Expertise in UX software such as UXPin, Balsamiq, Axure, and the like. Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills.
  • Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • A clear understanding of user-centered design and testing methodologies, and usability and accessibility concerns.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
  • Passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
  • Willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them. Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.

  • Excellent communications skills and being an open team player with results-driven working ethics
  • Fluency in English, other languages like French, Spanish or German are a plus
